Ripley Reviv'd
Creating miniature pop songs out of found materials, combined, filtered and overlaid with instrumentation and distortion. Two example tracks:
'How Am I To Find You' combines Augustine of Hippo on memory with a reverse phaser and 'The Lark Descending', a parodic piano piece in elegiac mood
'Foxglove' is a setting for voice and guitar plus numerous 'power up' stars
Compositions for solo instruments
Improvised pieces for different instruments, including piano, gudalka (fiddle), theremin and autoharp. 'Piano 1: More Is Different' is a short piece for the inside and outside of a piano.
Collaborations
Collaborations on performances as musician and as lyric writer.
El Grillo - a live performance with James Wilkes as part of The Enemies Project in 2013 at Rich Mix, London.
Phaeton - a song created in collaboration with the composer Louis Chiappetta and the singer Oskar Palmblad performed in 2012 at Wigmore Hall, London as part of the Birkbeck/ Guildhall School of Music 'Voiceworks' project.
